Performance+ ("we," "us," or "our") operates myperformanceplus.org and the IPERA™ desktop application (Individual Professional Evaluation & Resilience Assessment). This page explains our privacy practices and the terms that govern your use of our website, services, and assessment tools. Please read both sections carefully.

Information You Provide Directly

When you purchase IPERA™, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your full card details)
• Your ZIP code (used to apply regional career resilience data relevant to your area)
• Messages or inquiries you send through our contact form

Assessment Data

The IPERA™ desktop application runs locally on your computer. Your 84-question assessment responses and the resulting archetype report are generated and stored on your own device. We receive only the data necessary to deliver your report via email (your email address and a license key used to validate your purchase).

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, standard web server logs may capture:

• IP address (anonymized where possible)
• Browser type and operating system
• Pages visited and time spent on site
• Referring website or search term

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• To fulfill your purchase — process payment, generate your license key, and deliver your IPERA™ report and supplemental documents via email
• To provide coaching and workshop services — communicate with you about scheduled sessions or programs you have enrolled in
• To respond to your inquiries — answer questions submitted through our contact form
• To improve our services — understand aggregate, anonymized trends in how our assessments are used (no individual data is reviewed)
• To send relevant updates — only if you have opted in to our newsletter or email list

We do not use your data for advertising profiling, sell it to third parties, or share it with any organization outside of the service providers listed below.

Performance+ shares your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate:

• Stripe — payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (license keys and reports)
• Supabase — secure backend database for license key validation
• Hostinger — website hosting

Each provider is contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for any purpose beyond the service they provide to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Performance+, our clients, or the public.

We retain your purchase records (name, email, license key) for a minimum of three years to comply with tax and business recordkeeping obligations. After that period, data is securely deleted. Assessment response data is never transmitted to our servers — it lives on your device.

If you would like us to delete your personal data from our systems sooner, please contact us at the address in the Contact section below.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption on all web pages, secure API communication with our service providers, and access controls that limit who within Performance+ can view account data.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique email password and to keep your IPERA™ license key confidential.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

North Carolina residents are protected under state consumer privacy law, and California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at eric@myperformanceplus.org. We will respond within 30 days.

IPERA™ and Performance+ services are designed for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify purchasers by email. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By accessing myperformanceplus.org, purchasing IPERA™, or engaging any Performance+ coaching or workshop service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

Purchase of IPERA™ grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to install and use the desktop application on one personal computer. You may not:

• Share, resell, or redistribute the application, license key, or generated reports without written permission from Performance+
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• Use the tool on behalf of a client or third party without a Performance+ Coach License agreement
• Represent IPERA™ results as a clinical, psychological, or medical assessment

All content on myperformanceplus.org — including the IPERA™ methodology, Career Resilience Archetypes, assessment questions, scoring algorithms, written content, graphics, and brand elements — is the intellectual property of Performance+ and Eric Meadows, protected under United States copyright and trademark law.

You may share links to our website and quote brief excerpts (with attribution) for informational or educational purposes. Any other reproduction requires our prior written consent.

IPERA™ and all Performance+ services are provided for career development and educational purposes only. Results reflect self-reported responses and regional research data — they are not a guarantee of future employment outcomes, earnings, or career success.

Performance+ is not a licensed psychological testing service, and IPERA™ does not constitute clinical assessment, therapy, or legal or financial advice. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any assessment results or coaching recommendations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Performance+ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, IPERA™, or any coaching or workshop service — including but not limited to loss of income, career disruption, or reliance on assessment results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Performance+ in the 90 days preceding the claim.

Because IPERA™ is a digital product and the license key is delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing or completing your assessment, please contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will work to resolve the problem or issue a replacement license at our discretion.

For coaching sessions and workshops, cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at no additional charge.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nash County, North Carolina.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying registered users by email. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
